ครบรอบวันเกิด 183 ปี Jules Verne

       Doodle ชิ้นนี้ถูกจัดทำขึ้นเพื่อร่วมฉลองครบรอบวันเกิดปีที่ 183 ปี ของ Jules Verne นักเขียนเรื่องราวเกี่ยวกับวิทยาศาสตร์ ชาวฝรั่งเศส ที่เป็นที่รู้จักกันอย่างกว้างขวางจากผลงานการประพันธ์ในเรื่องที่เกี่ยวกับวิทยาศาตร์หลาย ๆ เรื่อง เช่น  ใต้ทะเลสองหมื่นลีกส์ (Twenty Thousand Leagues under the sea) และแปดสิบวันรอบโลก รูปแบบของดูเดิลนี้ออกเบบโดยมีลักษณะพิเศษที่ปุ่มคันบังคับทางฝั่งซ้ายมือสามารถปรับให้ภาพที่ทำเป็นช่องกระจกในเรือดำน้ำสามารถเคลื่อนไหวได้  โดยช่องกระจกนี้ทำเป็นตัวอักษรคำว่า Google โดยได้เเรงบันดาลใจจากเรื่อง ใต้ทะเลสองหมื่นลีกส์ มาใช้ในการออกเบบ

       Jules Gabriel Verne  เกิดในปี ค.ศ. 1828 ที่  Nantes , Brittany ใน ประเทศฝรั่งเศส โดยมีบิดา  Pierre Verne ซึ่งประกอบอาชีพทนายความ เเละมารดาของเขา Sophie Verne เขามีพี่ชาย 1 คนคือ Paul  Verne ที่ชอบพาเขาลงเรือเล่นในเเม่น้ำหลาย ๆ สาย เช่นเเม่น้ำลัวร์ เเละที่นี่เป็นจุดกำเนิดของจินตนาการอันกว้างไกลที่เขาจะใส่ลงไปนิยายต่าง ๆ ในอีก หลายปีให้หลัง  เมื่ออายุได้ 9 ขวบเขาถูส่งตัวไปเขาโรงเรียนประจำที่วิทยาลัยเซนต์ Donatien ( Petit séminaire de Saint – Donatien ) ที่นี่เป็นที่เเรกที่จะเพิ่มเติมความรู้ให้กับกับ เขาศึกษาทั้งภาษาลาติน, การประดิษฐ์ต่าง ๆ  คณิตศาสตร์ เเละวิชาการสำรวจ รวมทั้งวิชาวาดเขียน

       หลังจากจบจากวิทยาลัย Jules Verne เริ่มงานเขียนของเขาซึ่งทำให้เขาขัดใจกับพ่อที่ต้องการให้เขาเป็นทนาย เเละเริ่มตัดเงินสนับสนุนเขา จนเขามาพบกับ  Victor Hugo เเละ Alexandre Dumas ที่ให้คำเเนะนำเเละสนับสนุนเขา หลังจากนั้นในปี ค.ศ. 1857 เขาเเต่งงานกับ Honorine de Viane Morel เเม่ม่ายลูกติด 2 คน ที่คอยให้กำลังใจในการเขียนิยายของเขา

       นวนิยายของเขาถือเป็นการบุกเบิกนิยายเเนววิทยาศาสตร์ เเละนิยายที่เป็นที่รู้จักกันดีจากผลงานของเขาก็อาทิเช่น  ห้าสัปดาห์ในบัลลูน (Five Weeks in a balloon ) ที่ถือเป็นเรื่องเเรกของเขาเเละในบรรดาเรื่องที่มีชื่อเสียงของเขาได้แก่เรื่อง ใต้ทะเลสองหมื่นลีกส์ (Twenty Thousand Leagues under the sea) และแปดสิบวันรอบโลก ที่ต่อมาได้ถูกนำมาทำเป็นภาพยนต์ในยุคต่อ ๆ มา  ผลงานของ Jules Verne นั้นเขาเขียนถึง พื้นที่ , สภาพอากาศ ,ใต้น้ำ เเละการใช้พาหนะต่าง ๆ ในการเดินทาง เช่น เรือดำน้ำ ซึ่งได้เกิดขึ้นจริงในเวลาต่อมา หรือเเม้เเต่การเดินทางไปในอวกาศ Jules Verne ก็เป็นผู้พูดถึงในนิยายของเขาก่อน ซึ่งทำให้เขาได้รับการยกย่องเป็น “บิดาแห่งนิยายวิทยาศาสตร์”

       Jules Verne เสียชีวิตในวันที่ 24 มีนาคม ค.ศ.1905 ด้วยวัย 77 ปี ที่ Amiens ประเทศฝรั่งเศส ทิ้งผลงานไว้มากมายกว่า 60 เรื่อง
